Christians need to turn from the 'old self' and turn to the 'new self'. The 'new self' is the way that Christians should be. It is also following the example of Christ. We should also walk in love. Love is everything. If we love God, we will obey Him. Sometimes, the 'old self' may rear its ugly head but you have the Sword of the Spirit to fight against it. Pray aginst it. You will win. God is on your side.
