Do you know why some of our prayers go unanswered? It is because they are not going along the will of God. We need to focus on the kingdom of God first. The Lord's prayer says 'your kingdom come, your will be done'. That means that we need to put the kingdom of God first. That is the message of Psalms 37:3-5. We need to pray that God gets what He wants. When we pray, we need to recognize what the Lord wants. Now, if we put the Lord first, then everything will be added unto us. So when we pray, we need to seek the will of the Lord. Also, we should not pray of fast so that everyone could see it. Prayer and fasting and anything that you do for the Lord are supposed to be between you and the Lord. That is why the Lord says that we need to go to our closets and pray.
