When you become Christian, you gain certain freedoms. You are more freer than before. You are free from sin, because the world is full of sin. You are free from the law of sin and death because the old covenant does not save. It was to teach us that we could not fulfill it. This freedom allows you to do as you ought. It frees you from the regulations of this world, but remember that we have certain authorities that we must respect. You are free from the world's slavery. The world and Christ are at two separate ends. In order to experience this freedom, you need to live as a Christian in the 'new man'. And, remember, an act of love frees a person from bondage.
