There are some things that do not work. One of them is the Sinner's Prayer. That is nowhere found in the Bible. It doesn't work. However, turning from sin does. Giving your life to the Lord does. The Sinner's Prayer is nothing more than a ritual. God wants your heart. It is the motive of your heart that counts. You must choose God or Satan. If you choose God, you must do as He says, because He is not only Savior, but Lord. That means that you must obey the Gospels and the Epistles. If you love Jesus, you will obey Him. He will know if He has your heart. The ritual does not save. If you give Him your heart, that is all that He wants. He knows that you will never be perfect and that is why Jesus died for you. Satan wants to hurt and destroy us. Even if you serve Satan, he will hate you, even if you do serve Him, so there is no point in serving Him. And, remember, there is no point in serving Him because you will join in His punishment. So, give Him your heart. Follow Him! Give Him everything that you have. Choose God. He has always loved you. Seek Him with all of your heart. He is the way, the truth, and the life! Remember that! He loves you and finally, God is great!
